The Foundation inaugurates new Educational Football Program in Brazil

The Real Madrid Foundation has opened a new Educational Football Program in Barra de Tijuca (Rio de Janeiro), in collaboration with the Agencia EA. There are currently almost 2,000 young people involved at the 10 locations where this project is run in the country. Just like the clinics, the advisory program in educational sport headed by the Real Madrid Foundation helps guarantee the sustainability of the social sports projects, which provide comprehensive assistance for vulnerable young people in each region where the two activities exist:
 
The inauguration event brought together the participants and their families and was attended by the head of Campus and Clinics for the Real Madrid Foundation, Andrés Muntaner, who led a delegation to present the Foundation's educational methodology. The program is running in ten different locations this season: Alphaville, Águas Claras, Brasília, Camaçari, Camboriú, Panamby-SP, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro-Barra de Tijuca, Salvador and Teresina, thanks to the support of the Agencia EA.

The delegation from the Real Madrid Foundation and the Agencia EA visited the social sports school in Niteroi, “Deporte por la Paz”, housed at the Oratório Mamãe Margarida – Obra Social Salesiana Young People's Centre. The social integration project has been running at this venue since 2013, helping over 200 young people at risk of social exclusion and is one of three social sports schools the Foundation has set up in Brazil.
