Official Announcement: Hugo González

Real Madrid C. F. and Hugo González have agreed to bring his time at our club to an end.
Since arriving in the 2017-18 season, Hugo González has been involved with all of our academy teams, being crowned European youth champion on two occasions: in 2023 in Kaunas, when he was named the tournament's Rising Star, and in 2024 in Berlin, where he took the tournament MVP prize.

He has also won the Spanish championship at infantil and cadete youth levels.

He made his first-team debut in 2022 and has since won 4 titles: 2 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 1 Super Cup.

This season, Hugo González made his debut with the Spanish national team, and was included in the Endesa League best five youth players.

After being crowned League champion with Real Madrid, he was picked in the first round of the NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics.
