Looking to extend unbeaten run at the Bernabéu

Just 72 on from the win in the derby which put Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-finals, our team is back in league action. Ancelotti's boys host Real Sociedad on matchday 19 in the league (9:00pm CET) looking to remain unbeaten at the Santiago Bernabéu.
 
The madridistas head into the final game of January with their eyes firmly fixed on a fourth successive win, a fourteenth in LaLiga. The impressive victories in the last three games against Villarreal and Atlético, in the Copa, and Athletic, in the league, are in the past. Next up for Madrid is Real Sociedad and the hosts will have to show off all their offensive fire power, leading the competition for goals with 38 to date.

“Real Sociedad are playing very well, they're in good form and have a clear identity", explained Carlo Ancelotti in the pre-match press conference ahead of the Bernabéu clash. The Italian has captain Benzema back in in the squad, having netted in his last five league encounters. Alongside the Frenchman are Vini Jr. and Rodrygo, who both got on the score sheet against Atlético in the Copa.
