NEWS | 14/01/2020"The fine margins saw the game go CSKA's way", commented Llull.
"We made a pretty solid start to the game. We made few mistakes in the first half but they kept themselves in it thanks to their free-throws in the final stages of the second stanza. In the second half, we lost the tempo of the game and that's the biggest thing that we were missing today. We did well overall in defense, but in attack we lost our tempo in the second half. We know just how tough it is to win here".
"This is a tough stage of the season, with a lot of games and road trips. At the end of the second quarter the game there were a lot of stops because they went to the free-throw line and that saw us lose our tempo. In the third stanza, we lacked flow in our play and we were too motionless. There were players coming back from injury, the likes of Llull and Deck, and they need time. We need to try and regain the tempo that we're known for. The fatigue and absences can take their toll but it's not an excuse".
Llull: "We've got to move on"
"I'm happy to be back, but, obviously, not with the performance. The fine margins saw the game go their way. Against sides of this pedigree and on their floor that's often how it goes. The defeat is a shame but we've got another game in Moscow on Thursday and we'll have to be ready for it".
"We're working and training hard and we'd been on a really good run. We knew that it'd be tough and we've got to move on. Winning on the road in the EuroLeague is difficult, but we're going to try and head back to Madrid with a win".
Campazzo: "Against Khimki we'll again need to be at 100%"
"It was a lively game, it was a bit crazy and at times we lost control. That's something to improve on. We came in search of the win but didn't manage to get it. It's a very difficult court but the team fought throughout the 40 minutes. The match-up against Khimki will be a tough one and we'll need to be at 100%".
