Kroos: “The return leg at the Bernabéu is going to be the most important match of the season”

Toni Kroos produced a sensational performance in Munich, including a breathtaking assist for Vini Jr. to score the opening goal. “I don't know. It's difficult, it can change every week or every two weeks. There are a lot of great players and I'm sure he's one of them. But we have more, a week ago everybody said it was Bellingham and today it's Vini. But that means we have a lot of very good players.”

“We already know that. Maybe whoever watched the first 15 minutes today. We hung in there, but the plan isn't to let our opponents shoot or give them these chances. There are things we want to improve.”

“I left a long time ago and it almost just feels like another match away with Madrid.”
