“I don’t go on to the pitch thinking I’ve got to stand out. My situation has changed a fair bit in the last few months. It’s not easy to be playing once every month and a half, you have to be mentally strong. I do it for the people who believe in me, my family, my kids, they really motivate me”.
“He’s hugely important for us, we’ve always defended him because we know what a great player he is".
"We know what he brings to the team, he’s a reference and we're very happy that he’s playing how he is".
"We’re relaxed, if we want to win the cup we have to beat whoever we’re drawn against. We have to take the draw seriously and be hungry to play".
Ceballos: "Happy to progress to the semi-finals"
"We knew how important this match was, we went out very focused and thanks to the 2-0 lead at the break the tie was in our hands. We’re happy to progress to the semi-finals, Barcelona are a very strong team, but Valencia and Betis are there for a reason. Any of the three opponents are going to be difficult, right now I’m hoping for a Madrid-Betis final at the Villamarín and of course a win".
"The coach knows how important it is to have everyone focussed. If we all pull in the same direction, it's easier, we have to continue this four-game winning streak".
"Karim is going through a good spell and we have to take advantage of it".
