Real Madrid Castilla's fine unbeaten run will stretch into 2018 after the youth side signed off for the year with a comprehensive win at the Di Stéfano to extend their undefeated streak to nine games. The Whites produced an excellent performance as they eased past a Real Valladolid B side that are lying rock bottom of Group I to close out the first half of the season with 28 points to their name. Óscar, Seoane and Cristo were on target for the madridistas.
Madrid came racing out of the blocks, with Santiago Solari's charges giving the visits no chance to get a foothold in the game, and with barely 15 minutes on the clock they turned the contest firmly in their favour with two goals in quick succession. Whilst Quezada fired in a warning shot on 5' with an effort that flew wide of the upright, Óscar it was who caught Tanis by surprise in the 12th minute with a devilish free-kick from a wide area which ended up finding its way into the visitors' net.

The Whites end the first half of the campaign with 28 points on the board.

Four minutes later and after regaining possession in the opposition's half, Castilla broke quickly on the counter to double their advantage, with Seoane the man on the scoresheet. The hosts, who looked well at home at the Di Stéfano, could have added to their lead before the break, but Tanis was equal to Feuillassier's menacing strike and Javi Sánchez later failed to hit the target following a corner. Meanwhile, at the other end, Belman pulled off a fine save in the 45th minute to keep Mario's towering header out in what was the visitors most dangerous move of the opening half.
Fine victory
The Whites showed their character as they kept their discipline and continued to dictate proceedings in the second period. Valladolid B kept plugging away and managed to reduce the arrears as Miguel applied the finish following a counter-attack in the 64th minute. However, it didn't take the Whites long to respond: in their very next attack, Apa contrived to turn the ball into his own net following a set piece. With 84 minutes on the clock, Cristo scored the team's final goal of the year to round off a sensational rout for Real Madrid Castilla.
