Kovacic, played his 50th league game as a madridista and said: “We suffered together to come out on top in another final”.Casemiro played in the match against Sevilla and reached the milestone of 100 matches for Real Madrid. The midfielder is in his third season in the first team, in which he has a record of 79 wins, 11 draws and 10 losses. In all competitions, Casemiro has played 59 games in the league, 25 in the Champions League, 13 in the Copa del Rey, two in the Club World Cup and one in the European Super Cup. In addition, he has scored six goals, five of them coming this season.
Kovacic also reached a milestone in the game against Sevilla. The centre-midfielder played his 50th LaLiga game for Real Madrid and he had the following to say about the win: “The Bernabéu was incredible tonight. We went into a vital game and won. We have two more key games like that to go in order to win LaLiga. We had to suffer, but that’s football. We suffer together, that is the important thing, and we got the win to carry on down this path. The double is in the back of our minds but we’re taking it one game at a time”.
