"We lost two points but we did things well and we have to think about battling for La Liga until the end", he added.
The Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane, spoke in the press room at the Benito Villamarín following the game against Betis: “We failed to make a good start. The beginning was difficult and then in the game we created a lot more, but when you have chances you need to put them away. Football is like that. If you don't score that can happen. I will take away the positive elements and I cannot blame my players for anything following the game we had. I am very proud of what they did tonight. We just missed out on getting the three points".

"I have seen the side do better on a physical level, especially in the second half and at the end of the game they did very well. We are moving forward, and we have a full week, the third, to work".

Half of La Liga lost?
"We are going to keep going in the same direction. We are on the right path and we have to take something positive away from this. We lost two points, but we did do things well and we have think of battling in La Liga until the end".

I am happy with Carvajal and Danilo worked really well.

"Carvajal came on in the second half and he had no physical problems. Danilo started and nothing more. We have a very large squad. As for James, I told him that he had to move inside and on the wing. I am very happy with his performance".

"I only made two because the side was doing very well and we had to keep going like that until the end".

"I was expecting a side like that. It is a difficult pitch, with their fans behind them and Betis looked good. They also scored a great goal".
