NEWS | 11/12/2013 | Realmadrid.comIt is the second year running that the event has been carried out at the Hollywood supporters club's headquarters.
The event took place on the 23rd of November at the club's headquarters in Hollywood, and it was attended by some 50 supporters from Los Angeles. They met up not only to provide their support for the team, but also to share with the children who are most at need this Christmas.
US Marine sergeants Efrén Rodríguez and Gerardo Martínez spoke of the enthusiasm and help offered by the city's Madrid supporters, who got right behind the fun event by bringing their toys.
Each supporter who brought a toy in was given a ticket for a prize draw (which included a ball signed by the team and other Real Madrid memorabilia).
The event was a resounding success, not just because of Madrid's win over Almería, but also because an astonishing number of toys were collected that will help bring a touch of Christmas cheer to children in need.
