On the 11th of December of that year Alfredo Di Stéfano and Florentino Pérez collected the accolade at a ceremony in Rome.Real Madrid won by a wide margin in the ballot, winning 42% of the votes. Manchester United and Bayern Munich were the next clubs in the ranking with 9% of the votes.
