Dontaye Draper returns to Real Madrid after two seasons where he played for Anadolu Efes and Lokomotiv Kuban. With the later he made it to the Final Four in the last Euroleague. Speed, reading the game, ability to penetrate and defensive intensity are some of the qualities of the man who played for Real Madrid between 2012 and 2014. He now returns to Pablo Laso's team to strengthen the point guard position. During his previous spell with the Whites he won the league, Copa del Rey and two Super Cups.
With a lot of experience in European basketball, this year he was one of the key men in the historic season for Lokomotiv Kuban. In the two season he played at Real Madrid he stood out above all as a team player. Excellent defender (he had the most steals in the last Euroleague Final Four), the point guard, international for Croatia, won four titles with the madridista and got to the final of the Euroleague on two occasions.
