One day on from their LaLiga victory over Espanyol, the team were back at Real Madrid City for the first training session in preparation for the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16 tie with Liverpool, set to be played at the Santiago Bernabéu (Wednesday, 9:00pm CET).

The starting line-up from the Espanyol game completed running out on the pitch and then did recovery work using the indoor facilities. The rest of the group carried out a range of possession drills and played a game on a reduced-size pitch. Alaba worked away from the group both out on the pitch and indoors.
