Real Madrid Castilla slipped to defeat against Alcorcón on matchday five of the Primera Federación. The academy side were unable to maintain their winning run in the league on their visit to the Municipal de Santo Domingo. The hosts struck four times, including one from the penalty spot, to pick up their second victory on home soil. Rafa Marín was on target for the madridistas.
Alcorcón opened the scoring with a shot from an angle by Mosquera in the ninth minute. The goal seemed to take the intensity out of the game and neither side managed to carve out any chances until the half-hour mark, when the referee awarded a penalty after a foul by Marvel on Juanma. Chiki converted the spot-kick to put the hosts two goals up (31’). On the stroke of halftime, Dalmau added a third for Alcorcón when he turned in Víctor’s low cross.
Rafa Marín finds the net
Soon after the restart, Rafa Marín reduced the deficit when he headed home a corner kick from Arribas. Peter then went close, but his shot narrowly missed the target. Alcorcón then had Chiki one-on-one with the keeper, but Luis López did well to save on 70’. Five minutes later, Dotor felt he should have had a penalty and right at the death Pablo García made it 4-1.
