The Real Madrid Foundation manages their release for exhibitions and publications.
The Real Madrid Historical Heritage Centre, located at Real Madrid City, classifies, takes inventory, catalogues and digitalizes the items and documents that come from the club's administrative and sporting management, as well as any other items which are donated or loaned by madridista followers.
During the 2019/20 season, over 3,900 objects and 14,000 images have been catalogued by the Historical Heritage Centre, run by the Foundation. The Centre now has more than 261,000 objects and over 188,000 images, a total of almost 450,000 items relating to the club's 118-year history.

In the early months of the 2019/20 season, more than 2,000 objects and 6,200 images were catalogued, a total of 3,900 pieces. Likewise, some 18,000 historic images have been added to the collection, representing fundamental documentation to be analysed by fans, historians and experts in the future.
Loan of images and items to museums
The Historic Heritage Centre is in charge of managing the release of images and other objects for exhibitions and publications. In this regard, over the course of the season, over 5,470 items have been loaned out on 200 occasions, largely images for books or publications, while objects have been loaned to the Centre Espotiu Manacor for the Rafael Nadal Museum in Mallorca, and the Fundación Deportivo de La Coruña for an exhibition to mark the 75th anniversary of Riazor, among others.
