Casemiro, more clinical than ever in attack

The work of Casemiro in winning back the ball is always highlighted. However, the Brazilian has also shown his ability to cause problems in attack. He did it last year, scoring decisive goals like the one in the Cardiff final. And he’s doing it again this season, having already got six goals and three assists.
 
With several months still to play, Casemiro is already having his best campaign in the attacking side of the game, bettering the 6 goals and 1 assist in the 2016/17 season and the two assist and one goal in 2015/16.
 
The Brazilian has scored in three competitions: LaLiga (four), Champions League (one) and European Super Cup (one). Deportivo, Las Palmas, Málaga and Leganés were on the receiving end of his goals in the domestic competition while in Europe he scored against Manchester United in the first official game of the season and in the visit to PSG in the second leg of the round of 16. Six goals as well as the assists against Deportivo, Betis and Leganés.
