The best-of-three playoff gets underway this Sunday at the WiZink Center at 12.30pm.
Real Madrid now know who they will face in the Endesa League playoff quarter-finals. The European champions are set to take on Gran Canaria in a best-of-three series. The first comes on Sunday, 28 May, at 12.30pm (CEST) at the WiZink Center. The second will take place at the Gran Canaria Arena on Wednesday, 31 May, at 9pm. And the third, if necessary, will be played on Saturday, 3 June, at home.
It will be the fourth time the two teams face off in an ACB quarter-final series. The madridistas have won all three to date: 3-0 in the 1999/00 campaign, 2-0 in 2014/15 and 2-0 2020/21. We have also met Gran Canaria in the semi-finals, back in 2017/18, when we booked our place in the final with a 3-0 victory. This term, Chus Mateo's boys have won both league encounters - 105-85 at the WiZink Center and 67-95 at the Gran Canaria Arena.
