The star of this week's installment of Historic Goals is Solari. The Argentinian arrived at Real Madrid from Atlético in the summer of 2000. A versatile central midfielder, he was a physical player who forged a fantastic relationship with Roberto Carlos on the left-hand side of the pitch.

In the 2004/05 campaign, Real Madrid visited the Vicente Calderón to take on Atlético on matchday 18. Today's goal was the second in a 0-3 derby victory.
