Real Madrid contested their 500th game in the EuroLeague this evening against Baskonia. The team reached this milestone in its twentieth involvement in Europe's top club competition since it was renamed the EuroLeague in 2000. During this time, the Whites have clinched two EuroLeague titles (2015 and 2018), have been finalists on another two occasions (2013 and 2014) and have been involved in seven Final Fours and 13 playoffs. The team has been one of the main dominators over the last decade with Pablo Laso in charge.
The win against Baskonia is Real Madrid's 330th in 500 matches, which represents a 66% win rate. The madridistas' best consecutive winning run stands at 13, racked up in 2013-14 and 2019-20, and their longest winning streak in a single season is 26 in 2016-17 and 2018-19. The Whites' biggest margin of victory was by 49 points against Spirou Charleroi (94-45) in 2010-11. In that game, the team produced its best defensive performance to date.
