The Whites will play their first game on 20 or 21 October.
Real Madrid are set to take on Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan and Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Champions League Group Stage following the draw held in Geneva (Switzerland). The Whites have been placed in Group B alongside the Ukrainian champions, the second-placed side in Italy and the team that finished fourth in the German league.

Zidane's team will begin their campaign on 20 or 21 October. The Group Stage will run until 8 or 9 December, while the tournament's final will be held on Saturday 29 May 2021 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

Shakhtar Donetsk
The Ukrainian champions for the last four years running have faced Real Madrid on two previous occasions in European competition. The last meetings between the two took place in the Champions League Group Stage back in 2015/16, with the Whites coming out on top in both games. Last season, they made the Europa League semi-finals.
Inter Milan
Antonio Conte's men, runners-up in both the Italian league and the Europa League, have a long history with Real Madrid on the continent. The two teams have crossed paths in Europe on 15 occasions, with the Whites' record reading 6 wins, 2 draws and 7 defeats. The last time the rivals locked horns in a competitive game was in the Champions League Group Stage in 1998.
Borussia Mönchengladbach
The German side booked their place in the Champions League by virtue of their fourth-place finish in the Bundesliga last season. The last time Real Madrid and Borussia Mönchengladbach came face to face is written into the Whites' history books, thanks to a historic Bernabéu comeback (4-0) in the 1985/86 UEFA Cup Round of 16. The two teams have met a total of 4 times, with the madridistas recording 1 win, 2 draws and a defeat.

Butragueño: “They'll be six very intense and attractive games of football”
“They are three rivals with very different styles but they are all great sides. Shakhtar made the Europa League semi-finals, they're enjoying a very positive spell and play on the front foot. Inter's history alone reflects what they are capable of and they've grown in recent seasons so they'll be extremely dangerous. Borussia Mönchengladbach are a German team who are in fantastic form”.
“They will be six very intense and attractive games of football for the fans. Any slip-ups in this competition can prove fatal. The schedule this season is going to be hugely demanding and being able to call on so many players who can contribute a lot to the team and make sure we maintain high levels in every game will be hugely important".
