"We have ended 2019 well in LaLiga. At home we've dropped some points against some teams, and you come away disappointed, but overall we only lost one game and now we have to keep going".

“I am in favour of it, but my experience in the World Cup and Champions League is totally different to how I feel about VAR in Spain. I know the focus is meant to be on the ref on the pitch and it does not look to correct the ref all the time, but if you look at the play between Lenglet and Rafa (Varane) it is a decision that the ref called involuntary, but when it comes to shirt pulling I’m not sure what should happen".
