The Portuguese star, who has scored against every team he has visited in La Liga, claimed his 24th hat-trick at Riazor.
Cristiano Ronaldo continues to break historic goalscoring tallies. The Portuguese star's hat-trick at Riazor means he has now notched 24 trebles for Real Madrid (3 goals in 22 matches and 4 in the two others) and has overtaken Puskas, who hit 23 in the white shirt. Ronaldo's next challenge is to reach the 28 of Di Stéfano (3 goals in 21 encounters and 4 in the remaining seven), which is the club's all-time record.

Ronaldo's goalscoring ability is immense. Indeed, he has scored against all 27 sides that he has visited in La Liga so far. The first was Espanyol and, for the moment, Deportivo is the most recent. Barcelona, Atlético, Athletic, Almería, Real Sociedad, Celta, Elche, Getafe, Granada, Levante, Málaga, Rayo, Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal, Zaragoza, Xerez, Mallorca, Tenerife, Racing, Hércules, Sporting, Betis, Valladolid and Osasuna make up the rest.
