The Portuguese player has scored in every match in the final stages of the European competition in the last three seasons.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be the man to watch once more for Real Madrid in Munich. The Portuguese striker, who started the first leg despite not being 100%, is proving to be very unforgiving in the final stages of the European competition. In fact, he has scored in eight Champions League knock-out ties on the trot.

Specifically, Cristiano has scored at least one goal in every knock-out he has played with Real Madrid in the last three seasons. In the 2011/12 season he put three past CSKA in the last sixteen, scored two against APOEL in the quarters and two against Bayern in the semi-finals. Last season he also scored in three Champions League knock-out ties: two against Manchester United, three against Galatasaray and one against Borussia. This year he has bagged two braces, one in the last sixteen against Schalke and another against Borussia in the quarters.
