Álex Suárez brings talent, youthful zest and versatility to the Real Madrid roster. Born in Mahón (Menorca), Álex made his Endesa League debut as a junior. His performances for Joventut saw him became one of the hottest young properties on the national basketball scene. In the 2015/16 season he played for Dominion Bilbao Basket, prior to signing for Real Madrid.
Álex is a real all-rounder and is able to contribute on both the inside and the outside. He's a fine three-point shooter and gets around the court well, creating space on the inside whilst also chipping in on rebounds. These qualities make him a difficult player to handle for opposing defences from his number 4 role. In terms of his honours with the national youth sides, he has both European Under-16s and Under-18s titles to his name and claimed two bronze medals at the Under-20s European Championships.
