Official Announcement: Gianluca Vialli passes away

Real Madrid C. F., its president and Board of Directors are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Gianluca Vialli, one of Italian football's most legendary stars.
 
Real Madrid would like to express its condolences, warmth and sympathies to his family, his teammates, his clubs, and all of his loved ones.
 
With Sampdoria he won 1 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, 1 Serie A title, 3 Coppa Italias and 1 Italian Super Cup; with Juventus he got his hands on 1 Champions League, 1 Europa League, 1 Serie A, 1 Coppa de Italia and 1 Italian Super Cup, and with Chelsea he clinched the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 1 FA Cup and 1 EFL Cup.
 
Gianluca Vialli picked up 59 international caps for Italy and played in two World Cups (1986 and 1990). He was head of the Italian entourage when they won Euro 2020, played in 2021 due to the pandemic.

Gianluca Vialli has passed away at 58 years of age. May he rest in peace.
