Sport&Values Academy, the educational project launched by the Training Area of the Real Madrid Foundation, has started the new online Inclusive Sport course with its first sessions. This is now the second online training course by the Sport&Values Academy whose main objective this season is providing training and/or recycling space for professionals in the field of education, sport and/or disability, through its different courses and workshops. The course aims to introduce students to the world of disability and adapted sport from an educational and value-promoting point of view, based on the pioneering methodology from the Real Madrid Foundation. The course will last 8 months, from November to June, with a total of 96 hours, made up of 8 programmes in which different content will be looked at such as values and functional diversity, football for people with intellectual disabilities, creation of inclusive environments, autism in team sports, disruptive behaviours, amoung others. The students will learn about the different types of disabilities and their main characteristics, they will delve deeper in some of the most common profiles and will present strategies and practical adaptations to carry out in sporting sessions. A worldwide reference The Real Madrid Foundation has been working for years on the inclusion and social integration of the group of people with functional diversity through its different adapted, inclusive and wheel chair-based schools. The Real Madrid Foundation is a reference point in the field of disability and adapted physical activity, thanks to its extensive experience and the development of its own innovative methodology which is a reference point both nationally and internationally.
