2-3: Borussia Mönchengladbach come from behind to win ahead of Real Madrid clash

The Whites' next Champions League opposition beat Mainz 05 in the Bundesliga.
Real Madrid's upcoming Champions League rivals, Borussia Mönchengladbach, has a tough match on Saturday, eventually coming through to beat Mainz 05 3-2. Marco Rose's team came back from 2-1 down to take all three points ahead of welcoming the Whites on Tuesday night (9:00pm CEST).

Borussia took the lead after 15 minutes through Stindl but Mainz responded through a Mateta brace on 23' and 36'. The leveller didn't arrive until the 76th minute, thanks to a penalty converted by Hofmann. With 83 on the clock, Hofmann was involved again, whipping in a corner which Ginter turned into the net to clinch the win.
