Mbappé collects the 2024-25 Golden Boot
“Kylian, this Golden Boot is the result of your hard work, your commitment and your passion for football,” said club president Florentino Pérez at the award ceremony held at the Bernabéu.
Kylian Mbappé was presented with the 2024-25 Golden Boot award. The ceremony, held in the presidential box at the Santiago Bernabéu, was attended by Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez; honorary president José Martínez Pirri; members of the board of directors; European Sports Media representative Juan Ignacio Gallardo; Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso; and the first-team players.
Florentino Pérez was the first to speak: “Today we are extremely happy because an award as prestigious as the Golden Boot is being presented to one of the best players in the world, who just over a year ago was able to fulfil one of his greatest dreams: to play for Real Madrid.”

After a video was shown featuring images of the 31 goals Mbappé scored last season in La Liga, the striker addressed the audience: "It's a pleasure to receive this Golden Boot. It's an important moment for me. This is the first time I've won this award and it means a lot as a striker. First, I would like to thank all my teammates. Thank you very much for coming and for helping me at all times. Thanks to them, I have become the best version of myself. We have an incredible group, and I hope we can win a lot this year. That's the most important thing, the collective awards.”
