"We can't be over confident or say this is over because we haven't won anything yet", said the coach.
Zinedine Zidane spoke to the media at a virtual pre-match press conference ahead of the LaLiga game against Getafe at the Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium (Thursday, 10pm, Movistar LaLiga): "I'm very proud of the players because what they've done is not easy. But we also know, that we have six finals left and we want to try to do our best to win our matches. We're in good shape, but this doesn't really mean anything. We have to keep doing what we're doing and we're going to try to do that tomorrow".
"If we win, absolutely nothing will change. We're going to continue doing what we do, working hard, like we have been doing. We just want to keep it up, with all our energy. We have to continue to perform against a side that we know will make it very difficult for ur. We're going to try and find a way to win the game".
Extending the lead
"The reality is that we have six games to play and 18 points at stake. You have to respect your opponents. The opponents are also in volved and they're going to do everything they can to win the league until the end. We can't be over confident or say this is over. I've also been through this situation as a player, I speak from experience, and my players also know that we haven't won anything yet".
"I can't do anything about the schedule. All we can do is prepare well for the games and recover when we finish. The other day used Barcelona as an example, but I think it's happening to every team. It's a schedule that we have to deal with. We have to only think about tomorrow's match and we're ready for it. Getafe are  going to come here and try to do well. LaLiga do their work and I do mine".
"We know what kind of player he is and he's essential to us. Our opponents know that too. Let's hope that there' s no attempt to hurt a player. The opponent always wants to play strong against us. We have to be careful with him because he's been out of the game with a lot of problems. We have to go easy on him. He's going to be in good shape soon".

Getafe are a very difficult side to beat and will come here and try to do well.

"Our aim when we're out on the pitch is to win the games. You never know what might happen and the important thing is to prepare well for it. We have a team here to win. There are six matches left and right now we are one point ahead of Barcelona. We've won five games, but it doesn't mean anything. We have to keep going and repeat what we're doing game after game.
"Every player is important. The hard work that each player puts in is spectacular. We know how important Casemiro is to the team and the important thing is what he gives us. He brings balance to the team and, like every player, he can always give more".
Team work
"The team comes first. For example, the other day in Casemiro's goal against Espanyol. The move is spectacular from the start because we won back the ball, then a duel involing Ramos and then the move by Benzema. For the players, the most important thing is not the overall picture, but what they can give. I like a player who comes out of his position and can do something else from time to time.

"I'm not the only one who works here, there are doctors, physiotherapists, who take care of the players a lot, and we try to work on the recovery. Firstly because of the situation we've been through and now the heat factor is added. We know it's going to be very hot and recovery is essential thanks to the people who work here. It' s not just a matter of resting a little bit now. There are lots of things to do and we're preparing the players so that they will be 100 per cent ready for the matches.
"Until the season is over, nothign is won. The players and I haven't forgotten that. We are focused on what we are doing.

"I don't mind what he says. We know the player he is and he wants to play more, it's normal. But James is here, training with us and we're going to continue like this until the end.

"He's our player, but anything can happen here. He's had a good season. But in this club there are two things: the economic part and the sports part. We know the situation of both and now is not the time to talk about this. Things can happen quickly. But tomorrow we have a game and I'm more interested in that. I'm not saying, that I'm not interested in Achraf's situation, but that's part of the club and we'll see what happens in the coming hours.
