On 24 June 2015, Real Madrid secured the title after beating Barcelona 85-90 in Game 3 of the final series.
Today marks the fifth anniversary of Real Madrid basketball team's 32nd league title success. Pablo Laso's side secured the title after seeing off Barcelona in the final. In that best-of-five series, it took Madrid just three games to seal glory after winning the first two match-ups at home and the next game on the road (78-72, 100-80 and 85-90).

During the Regular Season, Real Madrid was the best team with a record of 27 wins and seven defeats. In the playoffs, Madrid faced Herbalife Gran Canaria (in the quarters) and Valencia Basket (semis), before doing battle with Barcelona in the showpiece. In that edition, the leading lights were Reyes, who was named MVP of the season, whilst Llull scooped the MVP award in the final. Real Madrid enjoyed the best season in the club's history after lifting the European Cup, the league, the Copa del Rey and the Super Cup in 2015, which also yielded the Intercontinental Cup to complete the team's five-trophy haul.
