Llull: “We need to pick ourselves up and move on”

“We are a winning team and we need to turn this around”, admitted Campazzo.
Sergio Llull, Campazzo, Causeur and Rudy spoke to the press after the semi-finals of the Final Four between Real Madrid and CSKA. The guard said: "We lost the game. We had more than a 10-point lead in the third quarter and we still couldn’t kill it. If you let a team like CSKA get back into it then at the end it's anyone’s game, they were better in the final minutes."
"Referee decisions are just excuses. We are Real Madrid and we cannot accept excuses. Congratulations to CSKA, they played better at the end of the game and won. There are two regular league games left and we could win it. We need to get up and keep going. There is no alternative".
Campazzo: "We have to right the wrongs"
"We were fourteen up but lost the game, we now need to be demanding of ourselves, strengthen our game and correct the mistakes we made so this does not happen again. We are winners, we need to turn the page and focus on the future. I am not going to talk about the refs because I never do it. We have to honour the third-place playoff as best we can."
Causeur: "We lost because of little details"
"We played some good basketball for 35 minutes but lost because of little details. We were not good enough on the defensive rebound and we defended the pick & roll badly. CSKA got their advantage and got real confidence, knowing that they could win it. We rushed things in attack. This happens in basketball and I struggle to accept it at times. I cannot explain it now but we have to learn. We win as a team and we lose as a team."
Rudy: "We battled against a brilliant team"
"There were a lot of fouls and free throws ... We need to be proud because we battled against a brilliant team and we stayed in the game until the dying moments. Now we need to recover and gear up for the end of the Regular League season. "
