Benzema has claimed four assists in his last three league outings at the Bernabéu

Karim Benzema once again laid on a goal for Cristiano Ronaldo in the Girona game, as he continues to showcase his excellent link-up play. The French forward is one of the team's leading assist providers and has racked up four in his last three league outings at the Santiago Bernabéu. The first two of these assists came against Alavés, a game in which he linked up with Cristiano Ronaldo with a stunning piece of skill, before playing Gareth Bale in for the second goal of the match.

In his next appearance on home soil, Benzema chalked up another assist when he teed up Cristiano Ronaldo in the win over Getafe. His most recent assist came when he again evidenced his superb vision by slipping a ball in behind the Girona backline and into the Portuguese's path. Benzema has seven assists to his name so far this campaign, a tally which makes him the side's joint second-best performer in this department alongside Marcelo and Toni Kroos.
