The agreement was made at the Santiago Bernabéu by the Real Madrid executive vice-president, Enrique Sánchez; the CEO of Be Helpie, Miguel Pueyo; and Emilio Butragueño, director of Institutional relations at Real Madrid. Butragueño stated: “This agreement looks to increase the Foundation's collaboration list for our fans using their mobiles, but we also want to 'reward' solidarity with young people".
Pueyo: “This is a true Foundation”
“The idea is to promote solidarity with young people, whilst making it fun and entertaining. For us, working with the Real Madrid Foundation is a dream come true, they have shown that this is a true Foundation, conceived to help young people, within our own country and abroad”.
Just as the yearly Corazón Classic Match combines a love of good football with charity aimed at the less fortunate, Be Helpie brings together leisure events and products for young people with an altruistic spirit.
This step allows the Real Madrid Foundation to remain ahead of the game in terms of using technology to improve their more than 450 projects and socio-sporting schools in 75 countries. Over the course of its 20 years, the Foundation has helped more than 800,000 people through education in values using sport, contributing to improving the lives of those most in need.
