NEWS STORY. 17/05/2023

The madridista coach overtakes Ferguson, totalling 191 games in the competition.

Carlo Ancelotti has now managed the highest number of games in Champions League history (191), eclipsing Alex Ferguson's tally (190) in the clash at the Etihad Stadium. The Italian coach has taken charge of eight teams on his way to the figure: Parma (6), Juventus (10), Milan (73), Chelsea (18), PSG (10), Bayern Munich (12), Napoli (12) and Real Madrid (50).

Our coach has also won more games than any other since the creation of the Champions League in the 1992/93 campaign. Ancelotti has picked up 107 victories, this season eclipsing Ferguson's 102. The Italian is also the only manager to have won the European Cup on four occasions (twice with Real Madrid and twice with Milan).
