100% win record in the first month of competition

Real Madrid won all six of its match-ups in September, whilst clinching the Spanish Super Cup.
It seems there are no limits to Real Madrid’s achievements, as the club has got off to its best ever start to a campaign. The superb victory against Anadolu Efes in the team’s EuroLeague opener means Madrid has won all of its official match-ups in the first month of action: three in the league, one in the EuroLeague and two in the Spanish Super Cup, which the side clinched after beating Barça in the final. These six victories make last month the club’s best ever September, surpassing the six from 2020-21, 98-99, 96-97 and 95-96.
The current campaign tipped off on 11 September in Tenerife with the Spanish Super Cup, which saw Real Madrid up against a very tough opponent in the semi-finals. The hosts, Lenovo Tenerife, made it very difficult for the Whites, but the team came from behind to win 70-72 and book its place in the final against Barcelona. The madridistas were then proclaimed champions for the eighth time in their history, the fourth in a row, after fighting back from 19 points behind against the Catalan side (83-88) with Llull being crowned MVP of the tournament.
Three straight wins in Endesa League and another in EuroLeague
One week later, on Sunday 19, Real Madrid tipped of its Endesa League season with a win against Hereda San Pablo Burgos at the WiZink Center (70-63). This victory was followed by two more in the space of just 48 hours. On the second matchday, after a solid display on the MoraBanc Andorra court (58-86) and on the third, after beating Monbus Obradoiro at home (78-68) to move top of the standings in the competition.
So far, the team’s success has been down to its rock solid defence, conceding an average of just 63 points. The madridistas rounded off a perfect month with a winning start in the EuroLeague against the reigning champions, Anadolu Efes, at the WiZink Center by 82-69.
