Football and basketball in all their forms have been the centre of attention this summer at Real Madrid City, as well as in nine locations across five Autonomous Communities in Spain, as the Foundation's Campus programs took place between June and September. The program also extended to the Greek city of Kos.

The Campus Experience at Valdebebas and high-performance programs in Madrid ran for 11 weeks in four different formats, benefitting over 2,700 participants, 10% of whom came from 50 different countries.

At the same time, throughout July and August, the towns of Azuqueca de Henares, Benidorm, Cartagena, Guadalajara, Lanzarote, Puertollano, Quesada, Toledo and Torre del Campo all played host to one or two-week courses. The projects in Lanzarote and Puertollano were particularly popular, with almost a thousand more young people taking part.

Making the most of free time with leisure-educational activities and promoting sport as a healthy lifestyle habit are the program's key aims.

Meanwhile, the basketball social sports, adapted and inclusive, indoor and outdoor programs catered for over 300 individuals at the sports centre at Real Madrid City, the Residencia Amanecer and the San Patricio School in Toledo. This summer has seen more participants involved  than ever before in a series of activities which grows year on year.

Notably, there was a significant increase in the number of young people enjoying the specific campus for goalkeepers this summer, reaching almost 250, while the high-performance program had 900 players.
Making the most of free time with leisure-educational activities and promoting sport as a healthy lifestyle habit are the key aims of the Real Madrid Foundation's summer campus. This summer, they've benefitted from a collaboration with the Fundación Alcohol y Sociedad, who carried out prevention sessions; sponsorship from PS Talents, for the football campus activities and responsible gaming; and the collaboration of Oliver in regards to technological innovation, in order to keep adding to the summer education program every year.
