Butragueño, Casillas, Roberto Carlos, Hierro, Morientes and Lorenzo Sanz were amongst the club veterans who joined Ale Galán and Álex Ruiz at the Mad4Padel club.
The 2nd Real Madrid Foundation-Santander Padel Charity Tour kicked off, which took place at the Mad4Padel club in Pozuelo de Alarcón. Over 20 top-level companies gathered to support the team of world champions Ale Galán and Álex Ruíz, who played an exhibition match against Butragueño and Casillas.

Felipe Martín, Director of Sponsorships and Events at Santander Spain, the main sponsor of the circuit stated, "Banco Santander's mission is to support the advancement of society and the people who form part of it. For this reason, it's key to convey the fundamental values involved in the practice of sport. This project is a good example of that, it allows us to reach grassroots sport in a supportive way, supporting the Real Madrid Foundation".

Deputy general manager of the Foundation Iker Casillas expressed appreciation for the presence of so many major brands and the bank's support for the Foundation's activity, as all the profits from the circuit will go towards the sustainability of the Foundation's social and sporting projects for the disabled.

The start of the tour also saw the launch of the new football-padel discipline. The line-up included former players, such as Roberto CarlosMorientes, Hierro and Alfonso, whilst Gallego was on refereeing duty. The players representing Banco Santander, Mijas Town Hall and Única faced representatives from Carmencita, Ecovidrio and the Porsche Madrid West Centre. Another feature of the event were the Adidas challenges, in which youtubers Delantero 09, DJ Mario and Cacho, who arrived at the club in sports cars loaned by the Porsche Madrid West Centre for the event, practised shooting balls into the Ecovidrio mini-recycling containers.
