The madridista full-back netted the winner against Atalanta.Ferland Mendy was named man of the match in Real Madrid's clash with Atalanta in Bergamo. The Frenchman played the full 90 minutes and was the key man, netting the winner in the first leg of the team's Champions League Round of 16 tie.
As the clock ticked around to the 86th minute, Mendy picked up the ball on the edge of the box and whipped a beautiful shot past the hosts' goalkeeper with a stroke of his right boot. At the final whistle, the fullback was presented with his trophy, awarded by the UEFA technical observers.
