4-2: Atalanta beat Napoli ahead of Real Madrid game

Goals from Zapata, Gosens, Muriel and Romero sealed the win for the Whites' next Champions League opponents.
Atalanta beat Napoli at the Bergamo stadium prior to hosting Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 (Wednesday, 9pm). The game was settled in a fast-paced second half in which six goals were scored. Despite Gasperini being sent off in the 26th minute, the home side took the lead early in the second half with a header from Zapata. Napoli were quick to react as Zielinski equalised in the 58th minute.
The goals continued to flow and just over ten minutes later Gosens put Atalanta back in front and Muriel extended the lead thanks to a great finish inside the area. There was still time for more action as Gosens' own goal reduced the deficit before Romero made it 4-2 from a corner. The win puts Atalanta on 43 points, 10 points behind leaders Inter, with a record of 12 wins, 7 draws and 4 defeats. Atalanta are also one of the top scorers in Serie A with 53 goals. In all competitions, they have won their last three and are unbeaten in five games.
