Real Madrid will today play their second match of the year as this evening' game will be the first away game of 2021, with Zidane's team visiting El Sadar to take on Osasuna (9pm CET). After getting the year off to a winning start against Celta and keepeing a clean sheet in the process, the team will look to build on that and extend their unbeaten run to nine matches. Real Madrid have a busy month of January ahead, playing in three different competitions, making the three points in Pamplona very important to approach the Spanish Super Cup in confident fashion, as Zidane's men look to defend the title. The madridistas have reason to fancy their chances, going in to the game unbeaten in the last ten league matches against Osasuna (8 wins and 2 draws).

The Whites will be without Carvajal, who is suspended, as well as Rodrygo, but captain Sergio Ramos returns after missing the last LaLiga match. "It's a difficult place to go and we must be ready to be at our best", said Zidane at the press conference before the match. The coach has called up 23 players as they go in search of the win against Osasuna. The opposition The team from Navarra go in to the game in the relegation places and haven't won any of their last 10 games, although they have picked up points in the last three LaLiga matches. Roberto Torres is Osasuna's top scorer (4 goals).
