"We put in a complete performance from the first minute until the last", explained the coach.
Zinedine Zidane appeared in the press room at the Alfredo Di Stéfano following the clash with Celta. The Real Madrid coach said: "It was a complete performance from us today, from the first minute to the last. We know we have to win every game and it's not easy but the players are doing it and I'm thrilled for them".

"We're going in the right direction, doing a good job and we have to keep it up. It's all about the team, the group, when we play like that from the off. We were very disciplined in offense and defence, with and without the ball. We're all pleased but there's still a long way to go".

"He's been professional his whole life and he's a hugely important player. Whenever he plays he does a great job and he showed that again today. I'm not surprised by his performance and I'm pleased for him and the team because they are three hugely  alegro por él y por el equipo porque son tres puntos importantísimos".

Lucas Vázquez gives it everything out on the pitch and it's no surprise to me or his teammates.

"Lucas has been doing a great job. He’s a very reliable player and a really important player for Real Madrid. He gives it everything on the pitch. I’m delighted for him and we all know that he has great quality."

Carvajal and Asensio
"Carvajal had a slight knock. I don’t think it’s serious but we preferred not to take any chances. I’m pleased for Marco because he had a bad injury and now he’s much better and improving in every match."

On Benzema’s substitution
"I don’t think he’s tired. I think he did well and I took him off so that another player could play. We’re in a great spell. We’re doing the right things and we have to continue like this."

"We have to take it slowly and not force anything. He has to get back to his best and take it slowly. That’s all it is."
