The relationship between Cristiano Ronaldo and the goal started in his first game in a white shirt. The forward scored a penalty in Real Madrid's 3-2 win over Deportivo and started the 2009/10 season with a win.

Since then he has not stopped scoring, and this season he has 18 in 13 league games at home. His standout performances include two hat-tricks; one against Sevilla and another against Real Sociedad.
