Courtois, candidate for Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper of 2022/23 campaign

Thibaut Courtois has been named as one of the candidates to win the Yashin Trophy for the best goalkeeper of the 2022/23 campaign, awarded by France Football magazine. The goalkeeper is one of 10 nominees shortlisted for the award. The winner will be announced at the Ballon d'Or ceremony at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on 30 October.
 
The Belgian goalkeeper, who won the award last year, was one of the pivotal players in Real Madrid's three trophies last season: the Club World Cup, the Uefa Super Cup and the Copa del Rey. The other goalkeepers in the running for the Yashin Trophy are: Emiliano Martinez, Ramsdale, Livakovic, Ter Stegen, Maignan, Bounou, Onana, Ederson and Samba.
