Vincent Poirier has adapted to life at Real Madrid seamlessly. In the four league games that he has played, he has averaged 10.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, 2.5 dunks and a PIR of 13 in his 23 minutes on court. These stats place him alongside the greatest madridista inside players of the past decade.

His points average is the highest recorded by a Real Madrid center in the first four league games of a madridista career in the last eight seasons (Bourousis posted 11 points per game). In the PIR stakes, he has only been outperformed by his current teammate, Randolph (15.7). The Frenchman has started three of the four games.

His points average is the highest of a madridista center in the first league games of a madridista career in the last eight seasons.

He debuted in the win over Joventut in the same week that he trained with the team for the first team. He played 15 minutes and posted nine points (netting all of his two- and three-pointers), five rebounds and a PIR of nine. In his second game, he performed even better in the team's victory over Urbas Fuenlabrada as he amassed 13 points, five rebounds, five dunks and a PIR of 17 in his 20:19 minutes on court.

In the triumph in Zaragoza, he was the player to rack up the most minutes (27) and shone by posting nine rebounds. His best performance came against Valencia Basket, against whom he recorded 16 points, seven rebounds, four dunks and a PIR of 19.
