The Alfredo Di Stéfano stadium held a minute's silence before the start of the game between Real Madrid and UDCA Tenerife, on matchday 29 of the Liga F, in memory of Rafael Rullán and José Ángel de la Casa.
Rafael Rullán, one of the greatest legends of Real Madrid basketball and European basketball, passed away on 4 May at the age of 73. José Ángel de la Casa, a historic TVE journalist and one of the greatest narrators of Spanish sport, passed away on 5 May at 74. The players wore black armbands.
