"We're ready for what's to come", said Rodrygo.
Luka Modric, Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. all spoke to the media following Real Madrid's win over Brugge (1-3). The Croatian, who got the team's third goal of the evening, reflected: “It was important to start the game well, play some good football and get the win. That's what we were able to do for large parts of the game. We played well and we deserved to win it. We weren't as fluid in the first half, but we finished strongly. The second half was better and we managed to score three goals”.

“Let's see who we get in the draw. Every team is tough, there are no easy games once you're out of the Group Stage. We'll wait and see, we're happy to be in the draw. Now we've got a hugely important week and we want to finish the year on a high. We're full of confidence at the moment”.

Rodrygo: “We can all do our bit”
Zidane always says he's going to rely on all his players and he showed that today, and you could see we're all ready to help the team. I'm thrilled with Vinicius' goal and mine as well. He put in a great performance in the last game and then again today. I'm very pleased to have got the goal, we know that's very important".

“The upcoming games are very tough, but we're ready for what's to come and we hope we can win them”.

Vinicius: "We'll continue on in the same vein to win a lot of silverware"
"I'm really pleased with the goal but even happier with the win. It's been a good few games since we last lost and we're going to keep it up as we look to win a lot of silverware this season. I'm really relaxed, I continue to work a lot on my finishing and the gaffer has helped me massively. I'm really pleased to have scored my first Champions League goal".

"Benzema helps me, both on and off the pitch, and is always giving me advice. I'm happy to continue working with the best players and the best people. My dream is to always play for Madrid".

Vinicius Jr.: "I'm thrilled to have got my first Champions League goal".

"Winning is good for everyone. We'll now rest up before heading to Valencia on Sunday. It's a very tough place to go and get the three points. All of the games are tough. We're not yet thinking about El Clásico, we're just focused on the next game, which is against Valencia, and on recovering".

His goal
"I was waiting for the ball and it fell nicely for me to hit it and that made things easier. It's always good to score and that's no different for me. I always want to score, but I focus on the good performance that saw me continue to get more game time and help the team, which is the main thing". "I'm really happy for Rodrygo and I hope that he keeps it up".

Odriozola: "It was a really disciplined performance"
"The vibes are good. It was a really disciplined performance against a side that make life really difficult for you. We had to extend the team's good run of results and vibes, we did that and we really couldn't be any happier. We've got three cup finals between now and the end of the year and, if we manage to beat Valencia, we'll put ourselves in a really good position".

"At this club, you're taught that every game is a cup final and we had to go out and get the win. We took the lead, they equalised and the team then went for victory. Right throughout the squad we all have the target of winning silverware and everything that every member of the squad contributes towards that is positive, both for the team and on an individual level".

New-look backline
"It's true that we'd never lined up with that defence before, but that's what the training sessions and our day-to-day work are there for. We share a lot of things, not just football, and the result is that things work out for us, as they did tonight".
