Foundation stages 6th International Values and Basketball course

During the course of the week running from 11 to 17 November, coaches from the Foundation's socio-sporting schools are taking part in the 6th Values and Basketball course in Madrid. On this ocassion, four coaches from the Chihuahua school (Mexico) and two from the São Paulo school have travelled to Madrid to discover the activities carried out in the Spanish capital.

The course takes a close look at the key elements of the Foundation's working methodology through various theoretical-practical activities, visits to socio-sporting schools in Madrid (the first of which was the basketball school at CEIP Josep Tarradellas) and projects aimed at promoting diversity. One of the most attractive activities is the opportunity offered to take part in training sessions with coaches from the Foundation's basketball department.
 
Attendance at opening day of basketball tournament
Amongst the main activities, the visitors will get the chance to attend the opening day of this season's socio-sporting basketball tournament, which is to be held this weekend at Real Madrid City. This will represent an opportunity to get an in-depth insight into the key values of an educational and inclusive competition run by the Foundation.
