The schools developed by the Foundation with ISSDF in Indonesia welcome the authorities

A delegation from the Real Madrid Foundation has travelled to Indonesia to visit the socio-sporting schools in Yogyakarta and Barjanbaru, which are being developed with the International Social Sports Development Foundation (ISSDF) to attend to 260 vulnerable children.

The trip began with a follow-up visit, where training for ISSDF educators was carried out. The mayor of Barjanbaru, H. Nadjmi Adhani, visited the local project. Subsequently, the delegation was received in Jakarta by Nyoman Shuida and Gatot Hendrarto, who demonstrated the Indonesian government's interest in the model of social intervention based on sport.

Socio-sporting schools serve 260 vulnerable children.

The delegation took part in the inauguration of the Hasnur Mini Arena, the new training camp for the more than a hundred beneficiaries of the Barjanbaru socio-sporting school with the Barito Putera Foundation and the support of Hasnur Group. This facility will allow the number of beneficiaries to increase, who until now only trained one day a week in the municipal stadium.

The trip was completed with a visit to the National High Jakarta School, by the Piaget Academy group, interested in carrying out a social project in addition to the clinics they have been organizing since 2014 for children in the Indonesian capital. During this year, the presence of the Foundation will be reinforced with the first clinics in Bali from December 16 to 18 for 300 children.
