The project is run in the Brazilian city and features the collaboration of CAF, the Mapfre Foundation and the Oratório Mamãe Margarida Youth Centre.Julio César, ambassador of Real Madrid Foundation's clinics programme in Brazil, visited the Esporte por la Paz (Sport for Peace) socio-sporting school in the Brazilian city of Niterói. In partnership with InterSport, the Foundation's local partner, nearly 250 students revelled in the visit of the former footballer to the first socio-sporting project which is set to benefit from the funding from the clinics based in Rio de Janeiro.
This Foundation-organised social outreach programme is being run in collaboration with the Oratório Mamãe Margarida Youth Centre, the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and the Mapfre Foundation. The project takes its place alongside the football and values-based activities and satisfies basic needs in terms of food, health service, academic reinforcement classes as well as offering psychological support for the youngsters, who belong to families at risk from social exclusion.
