"We're really happy because we've finished off the year in the best way possible, with a win", said the Croat.
Luka Modric made his 150th appearance for Real Madrid in Wednesday's La Liga triumph over Real Sociedad, the Croatia international chalking up the milestone tally in his fourth season at the club. After the final whistle, he offered his thoughts on the clash at the Bernabéu: "We've finished off the year in the best way possible. We're really happy and hopefully 2016 brings plenty more wins".

"Just like last season's fixture list, we now go to Valencia, where a tough match against a strong team is in store. But we're confident of coming away with victory. My New Year's wish is for good health, which is what's most important, and I wish everyone a Happy New Year".

Modric's figures
The midfielder made his debut for Real Madrid on 29 August 2012 in a 2-1 win against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup. Over the course of his 150 games for Madrid, Modric has been involved in 104 victories and scored eight goals. His run-outs for the Whites are spread across five competitions: La Liga (99), Champions League (33), Copa del Rey (14), Spanish Super Cup (3) and European Super Cup (1).
